Updates on Earthquake Disruptions in Japan March 16, 2011— Given the recent earthquake in Japan, please be advised that phone lines are very unstable, power is an issue and the government may enforce power restrictions or cuts. Seaport Logistics Sendai, Onahama, and Hachinohe ports have limited terminal facilities and containers at these ports have suffered serious damages by the tsunami. We regret to announce service suspension for exports and imports at Sendai, Onahama, and Hachinohe until further notice. Contingency plans for import cargo onboard to these locations will be communicated on a case-by-case basis by your AIReS Relocation Specialist. |
