Changes to RNURE Documentation Requirements

August 29, 2011— As of August 17, 2011, the National Migratory Directorate (DNM) in Argentina has modified the documents required for registration and update of the companies in the Immigration Directorate's National Corporate Registry Office (Registro Nacional Unico de Requirentes de Extranjeros - RNURE).

Argentine companies are required by law to keep their registration with RNURE updated in order to file any immigration applications, including those for renewals. With immediate effect, the DNM will no longer require that companies produce a copy of balance sheets in order to complete the registration or renewal process with the RNURE. This change comes in response to concerns that Argentine companies consistently have difficulties in presenting balance sheets in time, and this was causing significant delays in the process.
